Denne boka omhandler nemlig tema kidnapping, sexslaveri, trafficking, mishandling og så videre…
Forskjellen er at denne boka er faktisk veldig bra. Det er umulig å ikke bli følelsesmessig involvert med begge karakterene, Caleb og Livvie (Olivia). Den er skrevet vakkert, med god karakterutvikling. Forfatteren har funnet en riktig og god balanse mellom dem og ikke minst i det sterke og ubehagelige temaet.
Ja, den havner i «Fifty shades»-kategorien, men denne er i det minste bra og bærekraftig!!
Jeg fikk også lese det første kapittelet av bok 2 og WOW JEG MÅ VITE HVA SOM SKJER!
Terningkast: 4 1/2 – 5 (temaet er jo fremdeles forstyrrende og ubehagelig…!)
